Services

This service is ongoing while family is in the program. Safety plan is created by victim with children to create initial safety plan. Implementation and ongoing evaluation occur. Upon exit family safety plan with family’s current needs are put in place.

Fair Haven’s Outreach and Education program targets domestic violence victims in Wayne, Appling, and Jeff Davis Counties who do not need emergency shelter but are living with or in domestic violence.

Child assessment is conducted by children’s advocate for each child with verbal communication average of 2.5 years. Activities are planned, developed, implemented, evaluated and information progress and concerns are relayed to the parent. Goal of children’s services is to reduce trauma the child has endured due to witnessing domestic violence using the LOVE IS RESPECT teaching model.
