About us

The mission of the Wayne County Protective Agency is to provide a quality 24 hour emergency shelter with comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and their children as well as educating the community of such efforts in order to stop the cycle of abuse. Reducing the level of domestic violence will be furthered by preventive education, awareness events and public speaking to schools, civic groups, and partner agencies to foster communities that turn towards the issues of domestic violence with knowledge, courage and compassion and by supporting legislation designed to decrease domestic violence. WCPA reduces the impact of domestic violence by promoting the rights of victimized women and their children.
